What is eMINTS?
eMINTS National Center provides research-based professional development programs to K-20 educators. It is a non-profit organization under the auspices of the University of Missouri, College of Education. eMINTS interactive professional development sessions and in-class support visits are designed to:
eMINTS is currently engaged in multiple grant funded projects including the Investing In Innovation (i3) - eMINTS Expansion Project: Implementing College and Career Ready Standards through 21st Century Classrooms, Supporting Effective Educator Development (SEED) grant project - Enhancing Teacher Effectiveness in Rural Missouri and Kansas, and the Enhancing Innovation and Research (EIR) project - Posocial and Active Learning Classrooms.
- inspire educators to use research-based instructional strategies in a technology rich environment,
- engage students in inquiry, collaboration, and the excitement of learning,
- enrich instruction to dramatically improve students' problem solving skills and performance in any subject area at any level.
